How to view your logs in OpenSearch Dashboards

From your dashboard choose the Launch Logs button for any of your Stacks and under the OpenSearch Dashboards heading choose the Discover Tab.

Once you have a few logs stored in OpenSearch you should be able to view them inside OpenSearch Dashboards.

Then your Discovery page should look something similar to this:

Tip: Make sure that you have the correct date range specified at the top-right corner of OpenSearch so that you are viewing logs received roughly around the same time you sent them.

The visualisation page lets you create useful graphs for displaying your data depending on your requirements. This can help you track your business metrics and focus only on the data that you care about whilst removing all the noise. For example, you may wish to track user activity on your web platform to see if the number of user interactions has increased over time.
